Sole circle to handstand

How to teach sole circle to handstand on uneven bars

description

In this new training course we'll be examining a skill that, over the years, has become indispensable on uneven bars: sole circle to handstand.

Its evolution into handstand turns, Shaposhnikovas and other Tkatchevs in different body positions offers an entire range of new elements to help raise your gymnasts’ start value and competition results.

To be able to envisage such elements, however, the execution technique must be perfect, and gymnasts must be able to link them without any issues.

Surprisingly, the most complex phases of this skill happen during the descent and the placement of the feet.

In this course you'll learn all the placements and actions needed to make it to handstand with each attempt. We'll also look at the prerequisites and the entire skill progression for teaching it. In particular, we'll take a look at a number of teaching stages on a high bar with straps, and the spotting techniques needed for this element.

We hope you enjoy the training.
