Physical and artistic preparation on the balance beam #2

The « walks » – part 2

description

In a first training course devoted to physical and artistic preparation on the beam, we presented a theoretical section on the major themes of movements, followed by a practical section with the creation of a routine intended for advanced or even expert gymnasts.

To complement this first routine, we propose in this second training course a creation intended for beginner gymnasts. Even if the goal remains the same, the composition will be based on a clearly less advanced artistic and emotional maturity.

You will nevertheless observe that all themes can be addressed regardless of the initial level of your gymnasts: preparatory exercises for simple movements, movements with progressive steps, dégagés leading into kicks, as well as dynamic passages, all linked together by a choreographic concept.

This routine is a proposal that can be enriched, organized in a different order, or even simplified, so that they are always fully adapted to the level of your gymnasts.
