Three quarter turn

Learn how to get your gymnasts to pull themselves toward the bar with the arms straight.

description

Find out how to get your gymnasts to come back to the bar with straight arms.

In the first part of this training, it's important that we look at the technique of the skill. Find out what actions must be added to a swing in order to come back toward the bar, passing from suspension to support, keeping the arms straight.

In the second part, we'll work on the 7 prerequisites for a three-quarter giant. With the advice our trainer gives you, you'll be able to teach this skill quickly and without any major difficulties.

For each prerequisite, we'll be analyzing the performance criteria that allow you to check they are done well enough to begin the skill progression.

Then we'll move on to the skill progression. Here you'll see how, step by step, your gymnasts can progress from the first exercises on the floor, to a competition-ready skill.

This training is for all coaches who want to teach this skill to their gymnasts.

With images and clear explanations, diagrams, and slow-motion segments, you'll learn all the nuances of this basic skill on uneven bars.
